Our work in healthcare

Even a simple website can be truly custom-built

Our work in healthcare

We champion personal collaboration on every front. The healthcare sector has become one of our strengths, where we've built countless personalized websites for masters of patient care. A modern website for a medical practice is not just a 'business card'. In practice, it often decides whether a patient quickly finds opening hours, books correctly and understands how the practice works. In this case study, we'll give space to a variety of projects that share one thing in common — the maximum and personal commitment of our team.

What we always aim for

  • Unify and organize the content structure.
  • Deliver a unique, custom-tailored presentation.
  • Enable the client to independently manage the entire website without touching any code.
  • Ensure technical standards for a modern, fast and responsive website across all devices (mobile, tablet, desktop).

What does a medical practice website that makes sense to patients look like?

With general practitioners, it's essential that users don't get lost. That's why we always build websites so that key information is available 'at first glance':

  • About the team / about the practice: introducing the people, the approach, the philosophy and optionally a short history.
  • Services and pricing: what the practice covers and what requires an additional fee.
  • Contact and opening hours: clear navigation with a prominent call to book.
  • News through a CMS: the practice can update operational changes without waiting for a developer.

Toaster: new news notifications

On top of that, we add an element that saves time for both patients and practices: if the doctor has published an update since the patient's last visit, the website notifies them visibly with a pop-up notification (a toaster). Patients can then easily catch changes without having to hunt for them.

What does collaboration look like when the client is busy?

We often encounter clients who are too busy and aren't easy to reach for their perspective on the website design. That's why we try to keep the process from being too fragmented. Already at the point of signing the contract, we go over the full brief and factor in all the variables we'll encounter during development. This way, we hit two birds with one stone and can then fully dive into development without having to meet daily to gather additional information.

A certain level of engagement is of course required for the website to be truly custom-built. Still, we try again and again to keep the process as unfragmented as possible and to come, phase by phase, with finished parts so we can approve them together and launch the website within a few weeks of the brief.

Every project is unique — whether through a specific visual presentation, the information it contains or the supporting services the practice requests. Allow us to introduce a few selected projects and the specifics that demanded the engagement of our entire team.

Launching a pediatrician's practice in Germany, backed by Meta ads management

Website for the pediatric practice of Dr. Tereza Nešpor in Germany
Website for Kinderarztpraxis Ergolding — a new pediatric practice in Germany

Dr. Nešpor was at the time preparing to open her new pediatric practice, to which she needed to bring not only patients but also fellow nurses. She is Czech, practicing in Germany, and reached out to us on a recommendation. She couldn't find a suitable candidate for a new website on the German market, so she turned to her home country. In this situation, we were able to deliver Western quality with the help of nimble Czech hands.

We took Meta ads management under our wing — through which, within moments, we found enough applicants for the nursing positions at the new practice. We also set up automated notifications for all conversion events from the ads, since Meta doesn't offer this natively. With minimal ad spend, we achieved maximum impact.

The outcome was:

  • Website launched comfortably before the practice opened.
  • Successful recruitment of team members.
  • Training on and handover of the CMS.
  • Maximum client satisfaction.

A user manual for three practices as one

Website for Dr. Běhanová's Mediprax practice — one practice, three locations
Mediprax: one practice, three locations of care — website for Dr. Běhanová

Dr. Běhanová is a highly proactive person who wanted to bring her practice closer to her patients and make visits as easy as possible. The challenge was that she practices across three locations, and navigating between them on her old website was misleading. She also wanted to refresh the presentation with a new logo and visual elements she had been missing.

For a while, she had been drawn to the idea — inspired by her colleague Dr. Halata from Hošťálková — of creating a 'practice user manual'. At the same time, her practice uses the SmartMEDIX booking system, whose presentation on the previous website she wasn't happy with.

The brief was clear and we dove in with enthusiasm.

We focused on

  • clear separation of information (practice / opening hours / contact),
  • readable navigation and unambiguous CTAs,
  • and a clear explanation of how booking works.

The 'practice user manual' PDF: fewer questions, more peace of mind on both sides

The 'practice user manual' PDF, available directly on the website, is a practical asset that helps patients take the right step without unnecessary phone calls.

In short, the document explains things like

  • how to book an appointment (online/by phone),
  • how to handle acute situations (including a recommendation to contact emergency services in urgent cases),
  • information on blood draws (e.g. fasting),
  • vaccinations (what to do before and after),
  • home visits by appointment,
  • preventive check-ups,
  • temporary work incapacity,
  • medical records and forms (e.g. for insurance companies),
  • occupational health check-ups.

A custom logo

In our day-to-day work, we always build websites to measure — never from templates. We take the same approach to visual identity: a logo isn't made 'just to have one', but to match the person, the place and the atmosphere of the practice.

For Dr. Běhanová, we took the path of subtlety and cultural-symbolic references. Her practice is located in Beroun, whose name has historically been associated with the Italian Verona (the story of Romeo and Juliet). We translated these motifs into the simple symbolism of ancient arches, from which emerged a minimalist 'M' standing for Mediprax (the name of the practice).

We crafted the logo to:

  • feel clean,
  • be easy to use across the website and in print,
  • and still be recognizable as a general practitioner's brand.

We built Dr. Běhanová a custom website with her own logo and a practice user manual. Thanks to the 'toaster' mentioned above, visitors get a clear overview of new updates, which the doctor adds herself through the CMS we provided.

You can see the result of our work at medipraxbr.cz.

I had Amuninni build the website for my practice. I can only recommend their services. I'm very happy with both the look and the content of the site, which took shape through repeated dialogue with the creators. They were able to deliver on every one of my requests.

A comprehensive yet clear personal presentation for a renowned general practitioner

Website for the practice of Dr. Radovan Válek — RVA Medico
RVA Medico: the personal practice website for Dr. Radovan Válek

One of the freshest projects from our studio is the website for Dr. Válek, based near Brno. Dr. Válek is also highly proactive, and the look of his website mattered a great deal to him. The doctor's wishes were:

  • a new logo,
  • emphasis on his proactive and client-oriented approach,
  • projecting the doctor's guiding philosophy throughout the entire website,
  • presenting the wide range of services the practice offers,
  • making the opening hours and news section easier to scan,
  • adding a clear CTA that links through to the Medevio service.

When designing the logo and the overall look of the website, we drew from the ideas and values the doctor wanted to communicate — including inspiration from the 'Wonca tree' and more broadly the motif of the tree of life (stability, growth and wholeness). We translated the symbolism into a minimalist mark, crafted so that it's immediately clear this is a general practitioner's office.

Based on our proposal, the doctor also supplied his own photography, which we thoughtfully integrated into the website so that it feels personal while remaining professional. With our guidance, he took the photos simply with his own phone — giving the website an even more personal feel.

A very professional and client-oriented approach. What I personally appreciated most was that I didn't have to deal with things I don't understand.

A simple, elegant presentation for a small-town dental office

The brief for this modest small-town dental office wasn't complicated in any way. That didn't change the fact that we put our full effort in and did our best to capture and present Dr. Pillarová as authentically and as she wished.

A client doesn't need to have a lot to say. Our experienced team can pick up on the unspoken details too, so the client can comfortably settle into the chair knowing their website is taken care of.

You can find the dental office website at zubni-ordinace-rychnov.cz.

I had been meaning to create a new, more professional website for a long time. I'm glad it was Amuninni who built it for me — I'm happy to recommend them to others. They work to really understand the client's wishes and materials and to fine-tune every detail so that everyone is satisfied. Above all, I'd like to highlight the great communication and the pleasant, professional manner of Mr. Turek. I wish the company many more wonderful projects ahead.
